 Andrew Wallaces' SE5a on it's maiden flight taking off, it flew great and Andrew was well pleased with it.

7.4v battery with duralite regulator down to 6v
Covered in linen solartex painted with spectrum PC10 paint
Pilot and cockpit done by Clifford McIlwee

 

This model is scaled on one flew by Henry John "Hank Burden he was born in Ontario Canada on the 28th April 1894 he was ranked Captain and flew with the royal air force in squadrons 56 , 72 , 85 he had 16 victories from the 21st March to the 22nd August 1918. He was awarded the distinguished flying cross and distinguished service order and he died on the 20th march 1960 in Toronto Ontario Canada
