The Day Bobby Watts visited Ballymoney On Sunday the 20th of July 2008 Bobby Watts visited Ballymoney, he is over to fly in the 3D Masters and was staying with his Minature Aircraft teammate David Nolan until Thursday when they will both travel over to England for the competition. David and his father Liam brought Bobby up to Ballymoney for the day and although it was windy and Bobby found it cold after the warm climate he had just left in his native America a great day was had by all, and judging by his smiling face he enjoyed it as well. David and Bobby had lots of flights and our Club member Alwyn Clarke burnt a lot of fuel also, Alwyn is the current 3DX Ireland champion. Now it goes without saying that Bobbys flying was immaculate, impressive and breathtaking, but also it was great to see that this young man was such a nice guy he had time for everyone and is great ambassador for his country and for minature aircraft and his chosen sport. A big thanks to David and Liam for bringing Bobby along to Ballymoney we all feel priveleged.
